This beautiful and intricate celestial chart-'Harmonia Macrocosmica'- was created in 1660 by Andreas Cellarius and illustrates the geocentric solar system. This piece is paired with a 1853 print of a Tawny Owl from the book by F.O. Morris "A History of British Birds." Surrounded by vibrant encaustic metallic pigment wax and framed in beautiful patinated copper.
